If your team does not have a full team on game day, you will be assigned 'subs'. If the team is still short, you can recruit players from other team, with no more than two subs available on the bench.

If a team has less than 4 of its own players present, then the opposing team will be awarded the victory, and the time will be used as a scrimmage. “Subs” will count towards the number of players present.

There must be one female player on the ice for each team. If no female player is present, the team will play with only four players on the ice (goalie not included in the 4).

Game clock will begin to run promptly at 6:45 and 7:30. There will be a two minute half time, and the clock will begin immediately thereafter.

"Subs" are players who have not committed to a full season, and will pay carolinabroomball for each night of broomball for which they participate. "Subs" will be assigned to the team that has the fewest players.

New recruits can play one night of broomball at no charge. Individuals may join the league at any time, at the rates structure listed above.

Referees will be present as often as possible. When a referee is not present, the game will be self officiated. Please play nice.

Team captains will be responsible for statistics, which at this time will be limited to goals scored, and goal scorer's name. It will be very helpful if a player from a non-participating team would be willing to assist with running the clock and keeping statistics.
